Implementation of technical systems in the new building for TVH Equipment, known for rental and sale of forklifts and aerial work platforms.
If you've already passed the E17, you've undoubtedly noticed it: the building with a fully round shape, boasting a diameter of 90 meters, is truly an architectural landmark.
A multi-technical project:
- Ventilation
- Electricity
- HVAC & Plumbing
- Innovation & Building Management
The project was entirely developed in BIM. The building is a fine blend of industrial and office spaces. The ground floor hosts various workshops for maintenance and repairs of forklifts, equipped with around 40 ports facilitating smooth in-and-out movements. The basement will serve as parking, allowing more space outside for machine storage. The central courtyard will also be used for informal meetings.
By late February 2024, the startup of heating, cooling, ventilation, lighting, temperature and presence monitoring, and CO₂ measurement systems was in full swing. Automation and tuning of all systems are handled by EEG Digital Building Solutions in collaboration with Schneider. A first for our branches is the centralization of all controls on a single platform. This required extensive preparation but results in seamless integration of systems, leading to savings in both labor and materials.
Also, note the complexity that comes with a round building. Straight long pipes are suddenly not the norm anymore.
